Re-introduced to the world by us in 2009, this iconic version of the original 1931 Fabrique Nationale Baby Browning "Lightweight" had a production run from 1957-1963. We have re-christened this model the "Featherweight" and have outfitted it with a state-of-the-art hand drop forged 7075 T652 aluminum frame, 303 stainless steel slide machined from bar stock, Grade 5 titanium firing pin, 24 karat gold plated trigger and cocking indicator, and polished nickel plated detail parts. The Bergamo, Italy machined/laser etched checkered 7075 T652 aluminum grip plates reflect the original grip plate design of the earliest 1931 FN Baby Browning pistols. Polished curved surfaces; 400 grit flats. Clear coat anodized frame. Natural finish slide. Polished nickel plated detail parts. ~ 7.75 ounces, unloaded. Everyone's favorite.

Frames are computer numeric control (CNC) machined from 8620 carbon steel or 303 stainless steel bar stock or hand drop forged 7075 T652 aluminum, depending on model. All slides are CNC machined from either 8620 carbon steel or 303 stainless steel bar stock. All metal detail parts are either Swiss screw machined from bar stock or fabricated from carbon steel stampings that are copper brazed, CNC machined and heat-treated. All metal parts are hand deburred, hand sanded & polished. Final finishes are applied one part at a time. Pistols are fitted with Swiss screw machined Carpenter Technology Project 70® 416 heat-treated stainless-steel barrels. Firing pins are Swiss screw machined from 8620 carbon steel or Grade 5 titanium, depending on model. Safeties are tensioned by hand. Pistols are equipped with a single 6-shot, laser-welded, rounded follower magazine with removable bottom plates. All springs are fabricated from piano wire & anti-corrosion coated. Unless otherwise noted, each pistol is clad with nylon impregnated, checkered black polymer grip plates depicting the “PSA” logo in an oval. All pistols ship in a fitted styrofoam box that includes a twisted nylon-in-steel barrel cleaning brush & English language instruction manual. Frames, slides & barrels have the same serial numbers. Pistols carry a 12-month limited warranty from first end-user purchase date against defects in materials, workmanship & finish.
